The Swedish slot developer, Lady Luck Games, has inked a preliminary agreement to buy the Danish operations of Spigo ApS, a Danish game content provider.

This acquisition encompasses Spigo’s 27 casino games and 8 customer integrations, including two partnerships with Danske Spil’s Spillehørnet and Tivoli Casino B2C brands. The deal also covers Spigo’s Danish certified platform, Spigo Station, and Spigo SDK, a technological solution for speeding up game development. The purchase price involves both cash and newly issued shares, but the specific details have not been revealed. Lady Luck Games anticipates the transaction to be finalized by the end of September.

“This is a strategically vital acquisition for our company, which will generate substantial revenue, unlock new revenue avenues, and enhance our profitability,” stated Mads Jørgensen, co-founder and chief executive officer of Lady Luck Games.

“We are incorporating casino games with a proven track record and consistent growth over several years into our already robust portfolio, while simultaneously adding a significant technology aggregation platform.”

Spigo’s founder and majority shareholder, Kasper Kau, will assume the role of new business development director, collaborating with Spigo’s three seasoned game developers.

Spigo has been searching for a collaborator to assist in achieving its full potential,” stated Kau, “and we have now discovered the perfect match. We are convinced that Lady Luck Games comprehends our past and shares our aspirations for the future.

“We are confident that this collaboration will establish an optimal environment for us to expand Spigo and witness remarkable outcomes. Lady Luck Games’ slot machines will be a valuable addition for our existing clientele and will contribute to our enhanced market dominance.”
