KTO Joins Global Betting Integrity Association

The Global Betting Integrity Association (GBIA) has declared that KTO, a sports wagering brand owned by the KTO Group, has joined its ranks.

KTO, founded in 2018, currently operates in Brazil and Peru, with intentions to broaden its reach to Chile.

Under new regulations in Brazil, KTO was obligated to join an international organization to guarantee sports integrity. Joining the GBIA fulfills this requirement, bringing the brand into alignment with Brazil’s new gambling laws.

KTO joins the GBIA network, which comprises nearly 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands.

Khalid Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the GBIA, added: “KTO is the most recent operator to select the GBIA as its favored integrity partner for its operations in Brazil and worldwide. This further expands the GBIA’s presence in the Latin American region, particularly in Brazil.

Brazil is taking a firm stance against sports wagering. The nation has introduced fresh rules to oversee the sector. President Lula recently signed a new law that makes sports betting more responsible.

One of the new regulations mandates that betting businesses join a global organization to monitor sports honesty. Galera.bet joined the IBIA last week to comply with this rule.

The IBIA declared its presence in Brazil earlier this year, prior to the new law’s enactment. They are collaborating with the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gaming to ensure that betting is equitable and secure.
