A prominent internet gaming firm, Cherry Group, experienced a substantial revenue surge in the recent quarter, amassing $98 million. This constitutes a 58% increase compared to the corresponding period last year. The company’s achievements are largely credited to the robust performance of its digital gaming division. To leverage this upswing, Cherry’s ComeOn subsidiary is actively seeking eight permits within Sweden’s recently regulated market. Chief Executive Gunnar Lind conveyed contentment with the company’s strategic endeavors, emphasizing the considerable triumph of the revitalization strategy executed at ComeOn over a year prior.

Yggdrasil Gaming, a Cherry affiliate specializing in game creation, also announced impressive outcomes. Their earnings escalated by 66% this year, reaching $19.58 million. This expansion was driven by strategic alliances, including a significant agreement with Taiwanese provider XSG, signifying Yggdrasil’s entry into the Asian social gaming sector. Yggdrasil’s CEO, Fredrik Elmqvist, also underscored contracts secured with prominent Scandinavian providers like ATG, Svenska Spel, and Veikkaus, indicating a positive course for the company’s future.
