XLMedia CFO Caroline Ackroyd Resigns to Pursue Gaming Industry Opportunity

XLMedias top financial executive, Caroline Ackroyd, will be leaving her position.

Ackroyd has tendered her resignation and intends to join a gaming company, though the specific entity remains undisclosed. Her tenure will continue until March 31, 2024, to facilitate a seamless handover. XLMedia has initiated the process of finding a successor for the CFO role.

Marcus Rich, XLMedias Chairman, expressed gratitude for Ackroyd’s contributions during her two-year period and conveyed well wishes for her future endeavors.

Ackroyd’s professional background encompasses financial positions at various organizations, including Sky Betting & Gaming.

This development follows an eventful year for XLMedia. In August 2023, they established a collaboration with WRAL.com, becoming the news platform’s sole provider of sports wagering content. Previously, in July, XLMedia divested three of its European casino holdings for $4 million, and in May, they unveiled a revenue-sharing arrangement with bet365.
